Who we are
Permit Test Academy ("we") runs Permit Test Academy at permittestacademy.com. These terms apply when you use the site.
What the service is
Permit Test Academy gives practice tests and a study course for the car permit knowledge test. Study course. It is not a state-approved driver education course. Not affiliated with any state agency.
A good score on the practice tests does not mean that you will pass the official test. The official handbook of your state and the law come first.
Free questions
The first 10 questions are free. You need no account and no card for them.
Payment
The price shows before you pay. Stripe takes the payment; we never see your card number. Prices are in US dollars.
- The pass is one payment for 12 months of access to the full course. It does not renew.
- The weekly plan charges your card each week until you cancel. Cancel at any time on the Account page. The access stays on until the end of the week you paid for.
No plan starts a charge by itself. You pay only when you choose a plan at checkout.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of a payment. The Refund Policy says how.
Your use of the service
The course is for your own study. Do not copy, sell or share the questions and lessons, and do not collect them with a script. One purchase is for one person.
We can end access for a person who breaks these rules.
Sign-in
You sign in with a link we send by email, or with Google. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
The content
Each question cites one page of an official state driver handbook. If you find a mistake, use the "Report a problem" link under the question. We can change or remove questions and lessons at any time.
No warranty, and a limit on liability
We give the service "as is", with no warranty. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Law
The laws of the State of California apply to these terms.
Changes
When we change these terms, we post the new text here with a new date.
